The home team, who were winners in 3 events and runners-up in 4 events and were adjudged overall champions. AIL, Mohali ended the tournament in second position. The final round was followed by an explosive performance from Indian Ocean.

Problem released for D M Harish moot
Scheduled between 8 and 10 February 2008, the problem for the ninth edition of the D M Harish moot court competition recalls international treaties for regional integration, and involves a dispute between the fictional republics of Anghore and Ratanka before the International Court of Justice. Over the years, this event has emerged as one of the most prestigious competitions of its kind in India and has played an important role in the promotion of mooting in the country.

The Law and Society Committee of the National Law School of India University have announced a National Legislation Review Competition. A first in India, this competition hopes to provide students with a unique opportunity to contribute to the process of lawmaking in the country. The problem concerns the legislation to ban smoking onscreen.

Moot fever in GNLU
In the academic year 2006-07, the total number of participants in the two intra-university moot court competitions was 360, and in the 1st half of the 2007-08 , a whopping 174 students participated in the university moot court competition (excluding students from 1st year for whom mooting is compulsory).
